Our Philosophy
As Native American design professionals, we have a unique awareness and appreciation for Indian community needs. While our cultures are diverse we share many common visions, values and ideals. Our project team understands the reciprocal relationship between cultural ideas and the form and organization of the built environment. Ideas and values help shape the built environment, and in turn the built environment produces and reinforces those values and ideas. We understand the traditional Indian community relationship to the land and the built environment, and we want to continue this legacy.
We are firm believers in community participation to garner a sense of ownership and do so through Visioning and On-Site Planning Sessions as part of our design philosophy. We offer our leadership to orchestrate and guide the Design Team’s path throughout the project process by facilitating respectful communication and decision-making among all project participants.
